LaVada’s is named after LaVada Johnson, affectionately known as “Big Momma”.  She and her husband Braska L. Johnson, both deceased, lived life to the fullest and wanted everyone else to share their enjoyment while being with family and friends.

LaVada’s is owned and operated by LaVada’s granddaughter Kay and her husband Ernie Alonzo of North Little Rock. Restoration of the property was performed by Remodels by Ernie Alonzo.
